Scams on the web ~ a Russian girls tall tale

Ok, well this is something that happened to me a few months ago. Randomly out of the blue I got a email from a girl in Russia, not saying her name, even though it could be fake. She used a screen name from my old xanga page. I haven't used it in awhile although I did update it recently. She talked about her friend Irena and how she hound love online and found a guy.

Wait.., crap, I am in class and the class is over. I hope I can edit this and add to it later. Last time I tried I accidently deleted everything. I have a lot to say and even pics to post.

Ok, well about a month and a half later and I am back. Finals are officially over and I can resume my true tale. I want to also add that my dear friend Yekaterina is my one and only friend in Russia who I care about.

Election Day

Well I had to get on here to post about my experience.

Its interesting , all the issues and all the problems that are being discussed all comes down to a vote. And, with the democrats possibly taking the majority Senate seats, and a real possible Democrat President, I think we as the people really have to get ready for what is to come in the near future for the United States.

Well now I say I have been the recipient of voter fraud, or should I say voter persuasion in the voting booth. I live in New Jersey, a state that mostly votes Democrat, so why is it that even at the booth there is someone who is trying to sway my vote Democrat? In Camden, I went to a local school where my parents and I went to vote early this morning. After getting our slip and signing our names we were in line to vote. Already there was a problem, at around 6:40am one of the booths had a error and was out of order so everyone was using one booth. That made the line longer but there were few people so it didn't bother me, it was just ironic that one of the booth wasn't working. But that is not why I am here today.

There was a young guy, about 18 or 19 who is helping explain the booths to the older adults, elderly, and generally anyone who needed or asked to know about how to use the booth. So I was surprised that he showed them how to use the booth by peeking into the booth with the person and pointing at how to use the booth. Well I was floored, when I seen this. I wonder who taught this young guy what to do? I was even more so suprised when it was my turn and it was done to me like every other person before me, and I didn't ask for help, and when he offered to help he came and peeked in and showed me how to use the booths voting system but he pointed at a particular party, a party that I was not voting for, but I was told by him, " ...you vote here , here, and here, and when I turn the booth on you will see the green 'X's' appear and after you're done, press the red button over here." I was shocked then, after that incident I told my mother discretely, and asked her to watch and see what he does when it was her turn and who he points at for you to vote. When my mother was done, and told me everything he did and it was the same that he did for me, and my father was the same. I had seen him do this before it was my turn, but didn't say anything because for one, I just woke up, and I wasn't in a confrontational mood, I didn't have my coffee yet, and two, if I told the other ladies there, how am I to know that it wasn't them who told him to do what he was doing. Ultimately I just wanted to leave and get online to find the New Jersey Division of Elections, and find a phone number who I can call. Well I found it but the line has been busy this morning and I can not get through but I will keep on trying.

Well I have a class and I have to go, I'm at my University now, and I just over heard a student mention something similar to what just happened to me. I might ask him about it, maybe.

Tell me if you have had any similar incidents, or if you didn't, or just tell me how your election day went. Either way the election goes, its History in the Making!!!!!

Blogger Question #1

Well one of my anonymous bloggers off blogger.com asked me what type of woman and I looking for. I told her and then though that it would be a good post to make.

Fell free to add anything relevant to my list. I am currently looking for Miss Right, to make Mrs Right.

1. A strong willed woman
2. honest
3. someone who is proper in public but when we are alone together knows how to love me
4. A Christian Woman, who loves to go to church
5. Beautiful
6. Smart
7. Someone who looks cute in glasses
8. Great body
9. cute voice
10. Graduated from College, and possibly has a Master, and or even Doctorate
11. Has goals in life
12. is a family orienated
13. want's children, possible around 3, and doesn't mind adopting. Reason being for me is because I don't want there to be a lot of stress on her body
14. Faithful
15. good with children
16. My parents approve of her and love her
17. Her parents love me

Ok, I think thats good enough for now. I might edit this list later but its something that I think a lot of men in the world should look for in finding true love and someone to live the rest of your life with.
I don't think these are hard to find. Most if not all women have more then 3/4th of these, and its not like all of these are set in stone.

Well let me know what you think.

Variety of Topics

I just got out of my Sunday morning service and there is something that I always wanted to do. I wanted to hold a online religion discussion. Not only do I want to discuss what I have learned at my home church, but I wanted to also answer questions that people might have. I have been a Christian for over 20 yrs and I have enough knowledge to answer anyone questions that they might have. But, on the off chance that I can't answer it, or your not pleased with the answer given, just know that I have a whole church that helps me and talks to me, and I will give you the proper answer, asap!

my home church website is www.gkmi.org

同一个世界,同一个梦想 One World One Dream

One World One Dream.

I think that sums up what China is trying to remake its face to be. Now on the verge of reclaiming back more of its former glory, the
2008 Olympics now being it new founding achievement. In looking at all the events that are leading up to the Olympics on 8.8.08, I want to talk about the improvements that have been issued due to the Olympics
and how in recent history China's improvements have mostly been centered around public and more so, International events.

Politics, Beijing and the Olympics.

If anyone doesn't know politics in China is a slow process, its always been sl
ow, but with the games coming, it has sped up the process. Some people I
talked with say that its only because they are having the Olympics and its a wrong reason to clean up the cities and put the homeless in homes only becaus
e the World is looking as this time but after let everything go back to how it was. I have a lot to say on this issue but I just want to tell everyone that when you live in a house you keep it clean, sometimes it get dirty, your bed room more then other rooms gets the dirtiest, right? Well when you have company over what do you most likely always do? You clean, you put your best foot forward and do things you wouldn't had done, or something that you would have eventually done. Well think of it
on a broader scale. Don't think of China like a state in the US where policies can be implemented and done in less that a year or more. China is huge and the sheer amount of people and land would take enormous time to clean and get things done. Not only that but when you get back to the politics of it, Beijing , China govern
ments are made up entirely of "guanxi wang"(a web of personal relations). When you do something, as an official, you must consider how that something will affect everyone else connected to you and everyone connected to them. For this reason things in China get done slow, but in the past big events forced China to move faster.

Reporters from around the world are making a big fuss about t
he policies related to the Beijing Olympics politeness and anti-spitting campaigns, but most people don't know that these campaigns are old and have been put in use many time before.
Before the United Nations' Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995, there were campaigns to improve the politeness of taxi drivers, to stop spitting in public, and to improve the health and hygiene of the citizens.

And, just before the 1990 Asian Games, disposable chopsticks were finally adopted citywide in Beijing.

What i am trying to say is that, despite all the bad people can pull up about the 2008 Beijing Olympics, look at it as a catalyst for change. I try to look at the positive in everything that goes on, and I encourage you to do the same. I will make more comments about China and the Olympics and the criticism that is brought towards it. Until next time, thank you.

My Hopes

After being impressed by fellow bloggers, and my dear friend "Sweetest Aroma", I have ventured out to create another blog. I am not to unattached from things, I had a xanga back in the day, and still have it, and I have a MSN Live Spaces, and the common Myspace blogs and Notes on Facebook, but i think its time to grow up.

I am a University student and my major is Politics, and I am concentration in International Relations, and currently learning Chinese and studying on my own Korean and Japanese.

I want people to comment on my page and ask questions about political situations, government candidates, the economy, stocks, and even the fun things like anime, movies, but I am more know for my personal help. I like to help people on there personal problems and personal situations.

So this is why i am here. I want to help and do what I can.

I will try to keep up weekly blogs about situations in current events, and also personal situations.

Well, I think this is good for a start.
