Fashion has always, to me been about to eye-catching, outlandish, pushing the boundaries or style and what's acceptable, while still being regal, and elegant at the same time. The colorful spectrum runs both ways and branches off more times then religious sects. From the contemporary to the progressive, fashion is always about what's now, and what's not, and to keen eye, a designer can determine what the worlds is looking for and what's missing and fulfill the every day buyers needs, to the gotta have it, needs. I personally am a genre designer, but even within those limitations, there are no limitations to what I can and can not do. European designs have such an elegance and high couture fashion sense, very sleek, with definable ends, a ball or gala attire. While the traditional oriental style was more about humbleness and binding, with accessibility and comfort. Beautiful patters and bright colors, silks, and long flowing material.
Although I have yet to come to a perfect unison of the two, I have started on this path, and though my cloths may go through many, many changes, from contemporary, to burlesque, I believe that eventually, there will be something for everyone taste.
Here are just a few pieces I've done, and there are many more to come.
I currently working on 3 more outfits that I am either making from scratch or fabricating from old vintage clothing, the world of fashion has many lenses and I am looking forward to trying my hand at everything.
Till next time.
